Today is the last post for the A to Z April Challenge and I am closing with

This week at LuLu Art the focus was on how art heals. I chose not to use the quote posted as I have always liked Picasso's words. The extra challenge was to use hearts.

Today for the A to Z April Challenge, W gets the nod.

W is for Wonder

and two art tags that seem opposites, but really mean that we need to be filled with wonder in all we do.

As I was creating these cards, the words of the old hymn "I Wonder as I Wander" played in my head.
As we wander, let us remember to wonder at all we see.

Here's my dining room table/carving station after I carved the penguin and tested it.

I realized today why I carve where I do - I need to sit down to carve and I don't have a chair or stool in my art/craft room. I stand when I paint or do mixed media.

It is that time of the week to share what I have been working on this week.

Colour Me Positive
This weekly challenge through LuLu Art is a fun one and one I am enjoying. The additional challenge this week was to use a carved stamp I had created.
When I read the quote about friends/tribe, I thought of faces surrounding the quote, so I carved a face stamp. I stamped 4 faces, added hair and then the quote.
