ART on Friday

Once again it's time to share some of the art I've created this week.
This will be the last for a while as I take a summer break - to return mid August.

Colour Me Positive
This week at LuLuArt, the theme i not to regret what makes us smile.
The full quote tho offers great advice:

“Life is short, break the rules, forgive
quickly, kiss slowly, love truly, laugh uncontrollably, and never regret anything that made you smile. Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”

ICAD
I made a few ICADs this week - just using scraps and playing with composition. Here are 4:

ATCs
I have been hosting an ATC swap on horses and here are the cards I made for it:

ABC Wednesday - Z and WOYWW

We have reached the end of round 18. And what a fun round it has been.

This week is Z - the end of our alphabetical tour.

Z is for zebra stripes.

Here is the stamp I carved and the art tag I created.

I thought as well I would share this round's art tags I created, from A to Z.

A to G:

H to M:

N to R

S to W

X to Z

Be sure to check here to see what others around the world did for Z.

Can't wait to start a new round - check back next week to see what my project for round 19 will be.

WOYWW

Each week at "Stamping Ground", Julia Dunnit hosts WOYWW - where we are encouraged to share what is on our work tables and what we are working on each week.
Once again I worked at my dining room table to carve a new stamp and then create an art card.

ART on Friday

Happy Canada Day to my fellow Canadians! Celebrate all things Canadian today!

It is also that time of the week to share some of what I have been creating this week.

Colour Me Positive
At LuLuArt, the inspiring quote is from Kurt Vonnegut:
"To practice any art, no matter how well or badly, ios a way to make your soul grow. So do it."

Here is my take on the quote:

The additional challenge was to use bright colours we normally don't use. But I ended up using the colours of the rainbow - as a tribute to Pride week.

ICAD
June's cards are done and now on to July for the challenge.
Here are 4 I did this week - stamping some words of encouragement:

Art Tags
I have now finished the month of letters on art tags. Here are X, Y and Z.

Here is the tag IO made for ABC Wednesday this week:
