ART on Friday

We are already mid June - how time does fly.
Here are a few of the pieces I have created this week.

Colour Me Positive
I am back to creating a journal spread for this weekly challenge at LuLu Art. My plan is to complete all the themes I've missed over the summer.
Week 23:

365 Project
This past week I created collages once again.

ICAD
This daily art project can be found at Daisy Yellow - a fun way to create quick collages in a most non-threatening way. Here are a few favs. from this week:

Sunday Postcard Art
The theme this week at Sunday Postcard Art was "Silhouettes"

Tags
I created this tag for:
Tag Tuesday (theme: Texture)  and Go Tag Thursday (theme: Anything Goes)

I used several motifs that I use a lot in my art - hearts, stars and birds. What motifs do you use often?

Photography
I had to share some of the flowers in our gardens.

Here it is the first riday of April and I am back after a short (needed) break.
here are a few things I have been working on this week:

This is last week's theme at LuLu Art - creating your own sunshine!

CHALLENGES:
Tag Tuesday -Things with Wings

Try it On Tuesday - Botanicals
Go Tag Thursday - Stamp It

The Collage Workbook
The project I worked on this week was "Seeing Doubles". My doubles were used stamps - which I have so many.

Project 365
For April, I have decided to create a daily zen. I have missed creating small zen cards - these are a bit larger, but as enjoyable and relaxing.

ART on Friday

It is time once again to share some of what I have been working on this week. I must admit that the past two weeks have seen me creating very little. My hubby finally had his angiogram this week after having it cancelled last week. It has been a stressful few weeks. The finding was that there were no blockages - not sure where we go from here now.

Colour Me Positive
I did complete this week's challenge from LuLu Art - how what we sow today, may not have effect for some time.

Tag Tuesday
The theme this week at Tag Tuesday is "Birds and Nests"

The Collage Workbook
I only worked on 1 challenge - Maps.

Speak Out Cards
Here are the last few "speak out" cards I created for ABC Wednesday:

Spring Vision Board
With each new season, I create a vision board that helps me focus on what I hope to accomplish for the next three months. With spring arriving last Monday, I created this vision board.(My OLW is at the bottom - cultivate)

ART on Friday

Another week has sped by - and it was a beautiful spring week ( in winter!), with record breaking temperatures
Here are a few things I've been working on this week:

Colour Me Positive
This week at LULu Art, the theme was perseverance.
When I read the quote, I thought of my honeymoon 15 years ago to Banff, Alberta. I copied some of my photos and used these for the background. Quick and easy - and meaningful

29 Faces
Here are the faces from this week:

The Collage Workbook
For the two projects I did this week, I used two flower photos I had taken:

#7 called for cutting strips and then reassembling to create a new collage
#8 called for cutting blocks and rearranging them.

Mini Collage Notebook
I only did one this week - it is just getting to make it a habit.

I took part in 3 challenges this week:
ABC Wednesday:

Tag Tuesday (spring flowers theme)

Sunday Postcard Art (dictionary theme)

ART on Friday/Saturday

A day late to post I know - but some weeks and days just become busier than others.
Here are some of the things I was working on this week:

Colour Me Positive
This weekly challenge hosted at LuLu Art has been most enjoyable. I find deciding how to interpret the theme (this week it is moving forward) as well as searching for complimentary quotes.

The Collage Workbook
I did a couple of exercises from the book this week:

Frankenstein
This is a fun project I always did with my students and they loved it. Interchanging body parts can get interesting.

Recycle
I grabbed a bunch of junk mail flyers and then created these 2 cards:

29 Faces
Here are 4 more faces for this February challenge:

Art Cards
Here's my  "SPEAK OUT" card for the ABC Wednesday Challenge:

I also created some art cards and tags for several challenges this week. Here's the link to the post on the cards.

It is already February - and another week has gone by.
Here are a few things I've been working on this week.

This week at LuLu Art, the theme is self esteem - loving ourselves.I chose not to use the quote given (I'm not fat. God gave me airbags because I am precious).I found two others I related to much better.

I have decided to take part in Louise Gale's "A Year of Colour" I created a colour wheel for the background from magazine pages.

28 Faces
This month there is a new challenge - to create 28 faces.
Here are mine from this week - small ones to fill the blocks:(sorry for the poor quality)
