ART on Friday

Here it is the first riday of April and I am back after a short (needed) break.
here are a few things I have been working on this week:

Colour Me Positive
This is last week's theme at LuLu Art - creating your own sunshine!

CHALLENGES:
Tag Tuesday -Things with Wings

Try it On Tuesday - Botanicals
Go Tag Thursday - Stamp It

The Collage Workbook
The project I worked on this week was "Seeing Doubles". My doubles were used stamps - which I have so many.

Project 365
For April, I have decided to create a daily zen. I have missed creating small zen cards - these are a bit larger, but as enjoyable and relaxing.

What are you working on for April?

Sunday Weekly Wrap-up

Time for a sharing of my art explorations from the past week - a little bit of everything.

Journal 52
I follow this weekly challenge but I haven't participated for a while. this past week's challenge appealed to me as I just received this quote from Suzanne Lieurance - her advice is to say this every day on waking.

What a wonderful way to start the day!

Stamps
I've been trying to carve a stamp a day and I have only missed a few days. These are some of my Christmasy ones.

(made me realize I need new stamp pads!)

ATCs
I created a couple of sets of ATCs this week.

Christmas ZENS

PAT cards

ZEN Project
I have completed more zens.

Photography
Here are a couple of photos from the week - it was a snowy one! And now the snow is gone!

Sunday Weekly Wrap-Up ( a day late)

Yesterday was a birthday celebration for one of the grandgirls. So the day sort of got away from me. Today I am playing catch-up!

AEDM
I am taking part in Leah's AEDM challenge at "Creative Every Day and have been carving stamps and trying to improve my skills. I need to make a lot more stamps to do that!
I bought Julie Fei-Fan Balzer's book "Carve, Stamp, Play"and am finally going to work through it. I had fun with the first few exercises. Here are 2 of the latest stamps, from her book:

I also carved a verb - a great simple message:

Zens
I started a mini zen project last week as well - just dpong one tangle in each box so that by the end of the month I will have a visual of 30 tangles.
Here are the first 10:
