Sunday Weekly Wrap-Up and ICAD

I have finally finished my last set of report cards! They are due tomorrow and I had a blitz yesterday and today to get them done. Yeah!!!
Now I can get back to a bit more art.  I did not have as much time to work on several of the challenges I usually do.
This week I did work on index cards though - they are quick and fun and a needed art break.

ICAD #14

Another zentangle on a gelli paper background.

ICAD #15

Another collage of gelli papers with a stamp of Mother Teresa. Love this quote.

ICAD 13

Today is ICAD #13 (index card a day, through "Daisy Yellow"

I chose to do another zentangle card on a gelli paper background. Zens are so relaxing - try it, you'll like it!

I couldn't settle on just one today - here are a couple of flowers from our garden.

ICAD #12

Today is day 12 of ICAD (index card a day through "Daisy Yellow"). I again created a zentangle card. There is something so relaxing about creating zentangles. Check here for more information on this fun form of art.
The background is again a gelli paper.

ICAD #11 and New Art

Today is day eleven of ICAD (index card a day through "Daisy Yellow").
I planned to do another collage and then decided to do a tangle. I took a wonderful course in zentangles a couple of weeks ago and haven't had time to play so I did that tonight.
I used a gelli print background and a sharpie pen.

Inspiration Avenue

I was checking other challenges and at Inspiration Avenue  their new theme was up - "Birds".
My first step is to find a quote that fits the theme and that appeals to me. After about 30 quotes, I came across the one I used. It is so very true (and sad)
