Shadow Shot Sunday

Shadows abound where ever you go. While in Lake George and Saratoga last week I did not have to search far for shadows!

Horse in shadow - there are so many of these decorated horses throughout Saratoga Springs. Loved this one.

The infileld , w here the horse Go For Wand is buried.

Had to include this photo of Tom Durkin - in shadow. We were part of a lucky group of 6 who got to enter his booth at the racetrack while he called the third race - the highlight of my trip to Saratoga. What a sense of humour and goodwill he has.
)If you get a chance check, out his calling of the race where "Arghh" ran - priceless!)

Be sure to visit here to see shadows from around the world.

The horse is realy cool! Here in Europe I've seen a decorated cow project this reminded me of.

Your trip sounds exciting! Was that the Lake George where Georgia O'Keeffe stayed? Her paintings from there are so beautiful, though not her best known.

I've heard that the racing experience at Saratoga is great. Genteel people nit watching from an air conditioned grandstand but being outside under grand trees to watch. Like in the 1890s, just a comfortable and slow pace. that's what I heard and am now enjoying your photos of beautiful turf. Nice!
