As I walked into the kitchen this morning, light was streaming in the window and making lovely lace shadows on the wall. Perfect shadows for the day! Within a few minutes they were gone, but now preserved here.

The lady is quite apparent - for that perfect (but only once a sunny day). The lace is intricate, full of shapes of many things, the artist using lace as an artistic medium. So icely captured!

This time of year when I see a shadow I reach for the camera. Shadows are fleeting around here in winter.
