WOYWW

Each week at "Stamping Ground", Julia Dunnit encourages us to share what we are working on and what our workspaces look like.

Once again, I was working on tags, on my dining room table:

ART on Friday

I am returning to my weekly check-in after a few weeks on holiday. It is necessary to take a break once in a while - then you are eager to return to routines feeling refreshed.
I haven't done a lot of art this week, but have started a couple of projects for August: a zen a day and word tags for my tag-a-day for 2016.

Zen a Day
I created a square a day of some of my favourite zens. I want to try new ones as I go through the month - a bit more of a challenge.

Tag a Day
For this month, I plan to create collages from all my scraps of gelli papers and then choose a word each day, following the letters of the alphabet. Here are the first 5:

I also got caught up with the new round of ABC Wednesday - It was D this week though.

ABC Wednesday - D (and A,B, C) with WOYWW

Round 19 of ABC Wednesday has already begun - this week lettter D is our focus.
I took a few weeks off - for a holiday in Georgia and North Carolina. But I'm back, to take part in old and new challenges.

This round I will be working on more tags - this time with a used stamp and quote from famous and not so famous people.

D is for Isadora Duncan -an American dancer, born in 18877 and died in 1927 in France, at age 50.

WOYWW

I've missed a few weeks but am back to creating.
We are encouraged each week to share what our workspaces look like and what we are creating at "Stamping Ground", the home of WOYWW - the fun weekly meme hosted by Julia Dunnit.

Here's my dining room table, just before I created my ABC tags.
Note the backgrounds to the left, which I had created a while ago.

Once again it's time to share some of the art I've created this week.
This will be the last for a while as I take a summer break - to return mid August.

This week at LuLuArt, the theme i not to regret what makes us smile.
The full quote tho offers great advice:

ABC Wednesday - Z and WOYWW

We have reached the end of round 18. And what a fun round it has been.

This week is Z - the end of our alphabetical tour.

Z is for zebra stripes.

Here is my take on the quote:

The additional challenge was to use bright colours we normally don't use. But I ended up using the colours of the rainbow - as a tribute to Pride week.
