Last "Art on Friday" of 2016

My blogging break was a necessary one. The past few weeks have been busy with Christmas, birthdays and doctors appointments. I did not create much until late this week but even that was necessary. I am eager to get back to my art room.
I hope everyone had a lovely holiday. My Christmas dinners extended over three days! But I was able to connect with all my children and their significant others, as well as my husband's children and grandchildren.
(On Sunday, I plan to share my One Little Word for 2017.)

Colour Me Positive
This last challenge of the year fittingly points to the new year and all the possibilities that it presents. Love the idea of 365 opportunities, there for the taking.

With all the upheaval in the U.S., it seemed appropriate to focus on values - so
V is for Values - that are seemingly been lost - around the world.

I may not respect Ben Carson, but I do agree with this quote:

Art on Friday is appearing on Saturday - yesterday was a hectic day. Health issues with my hubby pretty well dominate right now.
But - I was able to squeeze in some art - for my own care!

I've been able to do a bit of art this week, as my husband is now out of the hospital and hopefully on the road to recovery.

ART on Friday (on Saturday - once again)

This week my husband has been quite ill and ended up in emerg yesterday - and will be in the hospital for a few days. He has had a horrible cough and now has pulmonary edema. At least he is finally get the correct diagnosis and help!
So I am a bit behind in posting and creating this week.
