This week Q is the focus letter at ABC Wednesday.(Be sure to check here for more posts on Q)
Q is for quilt ( and quotes).
I have so many scraps of gelli printed and painted papers
that I used them to create a pair of paper quilts.
The two quotes fit perfectly.

That time of the week to once again share our work spaces - that fun meme hosted by Julia at "Stamping Ground".
My work space for creating the quilted pages above was my
dining room table. It was covered in scraps of papers by the time I was
finished.
I also used my art table downstairs to gesso puzzle
pieces for a fabulous new challenge – Altered Puzzle pieces (being hosted by Claudine) that has just
started. I still have to work on the first two.

Paper quilts -- what a cool idea! I like the quotes you placed on them, too. The puzzle looks interesting. I must go check out the challenge.

I love your paper Quilt so very colorful and your Quote came out perfect too!
I was wondering does it make a differences at what type of Gesso ? In the past I only used just plan white glue, and recently I have noticed some peeling and yellowing to my old art journal (ugh).
Each time I visit your blog and others that are into art journaling, I am starting to feel that inspiration once again.
What a great idea Bev, a nice warm coloured quilt to look at when you can't get under one! Dare I say that using scraps creates more scraps?!!
love your quilts and quotes pages. BJ#35
I did quilt too.
lots of quilts - a skill I don't have, unfortunately.
