Shadow Shot Sunday

Shadows are a very interesting target and at times they become an obsession! It is pretty bad when you are visiting a place and you first look for shadows! Others who take part in SSS know that obsession!

Here are a few shadows from this past week - a week of glorious summer weather.

The new nest of eggs still has not hatched but mom and dad are still tending the nest.

Be sure to check out the great shadow chasers at Hey Harriet, that wonderfully fun meme created by Tracy.

Marvelous captures and shadow shots for the day, Bev! Love the colorful flowers and those blue, blue eggs! I do hope they hatch soon! Enjoy your weekend!

The grasses leave wispy and slender shadows, the leaves more substantial ones. Inside the flower the pistils show shadows as nearly not, the eaves ad substantial shade to the nest. Almost like night and day, shadows appear and we are always ready for a capture!

I like the shadows that grasses leave,so fine and wispy looking. And those eggs - absolutely gorgeous.

You are surrounded by wondrous beauty and you take the time to see it, really see it!

TALKING SHADOWS?

Imagine a shadow could talk
In whisper or rumble or squawk;
Just what would it say
To make you go, “Hey!
You’re just a chip off the old block!”?
