Wishcast Wednesday

Once again Jamie, of Jamie Ridler Studios, asks us a very penetrating question:

What do you wish to embrace?
With the holiday season quickly approaching, I wish to embrace this Christmas season with wonder, joy and creativity.
Last year’s holiday was the first without my Mom and I felt adrift, just going through the motions for my family. I know my Mom would not like that Christmas was mechanical. I didn’t even get into the baking, which was her speciality and which I had taken over for many years.

So Mom, I wish to embrace this season, and to honour you and the season - to bake, decorate, create, listen to music, entertain - to just enjoy the season of Advent.

Remember there is great power in wishing together. Be sure to visit the other great participants here.

This wish is a wonderful way to honor your Mother. Also, with commercialism shoved down our throats, its easy to forget about the joy of the season.

As Beverley wishes for herself, so I wish for her as well.

My grandfather's birthday was Christmas Day, and it has become a poignant reminder every time we gather then to appreciate our family.

Hi Beverly,

Sorry to hear about your mother's passing. How nice you want to be festive for her this year. She's always going to be with you. Together you can do all the things you used to do, just in a different way. I wish for you to embrace this season in your mother's honor! Giulietta

Enjoy your family throughout the holidays~

As Beverly wishes for herself, so I wish for her also! Setting this intention will surely ease the way to a endearing time with your Mom. My Mom is getting ready to come next Wednesday for three nights and lots of cooking!
