ABC Wednesday - Y is for Yolk, Yellow Yolk!

If I was playing Scategoroies, I would have got two points for "yellow yolk" ! lol Great game by the way.

Here it is ABC Wednesday and we are nearing the end of the alphabet and Round 4. Although I joined late, I am enjoying the challenge. Be sure to check out the other members.

I had thought to use yarn for y, but then this morning as I was making a poached egg it struck me that here was 2 ys! Perfect.

Wikipedia describes the yolk so much better than I could:

"An egg yolk is a part[1] of an egg which serves as the food source for the developing embryo. The egg yolk is suspended in the egg white (known more formally as albumen or ovalbumin) by one or two spiral bands of tissue called the chalazae. "

Perfect choice for the letter Y. First Yolk I have seen in this round. Good for you.

I used to LOVE the game Scattergories! I actually searched for it the last time I was at Toys R Us and couldn't find it but I just did a serach and you can still find it at boardgamegeeks.com! Yoohoo!

Hi everyone. Thanks so much for visiting!
Scattergories is the best game for getting older kids to stick around and have fun with you. My sons are notorious for making 4 or 5 words in a phrase!
Thanks Angie for your comments about the art. I am just starting out and risking a bit, but I do love the challenges and the community.

A double Y all in one picture, excellent. Made me feel quite hungry.

That's an original one! Didn't make me feel hungry, because I can't eat eggs! I haven't played Scattergories, either, but I think I'd probably like it.
