We are now beginning Round 5 (year 3!) of ABC Wednesday.
It is a fun project and you are asked to share photography or art relating to the leter of the week. Then post your entry and visit other participants.
My choice to start this round is "arrow" - to point us in the right direction!
As we were driving around and about last week, there were so many traffic arrows:
Can you image the pileups if there were no arrows?? Although too many people just ignore them anyway.
Visiting friends for a reunion last weekend, I met the son of our friend and we got talking about arrows and what the project ABC Wed. was. Lo and behold, he had an actual arrow and bow. When I went to take a picture of them, my friend remarked, "That's Adam the archer!"
The ultimate A - Adam the archer holding an arrow.

I live by arrows, without them I would always be lost! (I am a coachdriver or tourbus driver)
Love it! How often does one meet an archer and whose name starts with A. Talk about synchronicity!
Great combination of A words!
Ha! Adam the Archer is a triumph! LOL!
I used to be an archer, back in my misspent youth. I didn't think to use an old photo, though!
Maybe next time I'll do 'Old photographs' for ABC Wednesday!
there's a specific no right turn arrow - actually two of them - near my house. Saw a car drive right through yesterday.
Remember Me and My Arrow by Nillson? T=Running thru my head right now.
A great 'A'....never thought of arrow, but we do need them....
Perfect--and interesting--choice for A and I love the last photo of a real Robin Hood! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks everyone for visitng. I am really enjoying the challenge ofchoosing what to photograph - this time the arrow jumped out so to speak!
I like the idea of using old photos - great idea Jay. Hopefully therewill be Round 6.
I don't remember Me and My Arrow - sorry Roger!
A very clever idea for the letter A! I would get lost without those arrows pointing me in the right direction:) Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for visiting my blog. I'm interested in your ABC creative process and The Artist's way as well. I gave up art ten years ago when I got my first border collie (just not enough time) but I'm feeling some movement back into creativity.
