I almost didn't post for SSS - I've been working on report cards since 10 this morning, with just a couple of snack breaks. But at 4 I needed more than that. The outdoors was calling- it is warm and sunny out. So I walked around the gardens, with my camera of course. And lo and behold, but what should I see? Shadows of course! And, of course, I had to share them.

You have a tough task, the end of the school year means a LOT of work. It is as if the flowers were calling you, beckoning you to leave the workplace for a minute. The flora was serenading you, and happily you responded with your camera - and these lovely pictures!
what lovely flowers - I like that first shot!!
Shadows, shadows...everywhere!
I ONCE HAD A SHADOW
I once had a shadow—or did she have me?
My shadow and I could never agree.
I would say something, she’d say the reverse;
Our arguments flared, my lips I would purse,
Refusing to speak to her anymore—
So my shadow got up and marched out the door!
I have not seen her from that day to this—
That’s one stubborn shadow I surely don’t miss!

These are lovely Bev! You're working on report cards on the weekend? Oh dear that doesn't sound fun! Hope you get through them all so you can enjoy what's left of your weekend :)
Nothing better than taking a break [much needed by the sounds of your busy day] outdoors. And finding such lovely shadows.

Happy Sunday!!!
Cool Shadow Shots. The first one is similar to mine ... shadows of daisies on the driveway
If we didn't know any better, we'd think that you were taking pictures in OUR yards Bev!! I just chopped a bunch of chives down so I can get some more to come up - smells heavenly :) Wishing you a wonderful week!!
