One of my favourite memes is Shadow Shot Sunday. Shadows are usually disregarded, but they can be such fun to actually search out.
The flowers in our garden have made some interesting shadows over the past few weeks. They are also macro shots that fit in with Macro Flowers Saturday !
Here are several of them:

The shadows that settle in each flower add a texture, a depth to all. Perhaps it is silk we see, but light and shadow add a true character to all!
Such beautiful flowers and I love the colors! Wonderful shadow shots for the day! Hope you have a lovely weekend!

Your garden has beautiful blooms!
Beautiful flowers doing double duty for Shadow Shot Sunday and Macro Flowers Saturday. You're right, we take shadows for granted and have to seek them out. In your photos, the shadows are subtle but oh so there!

It appears that summer is still in control.
Flowers make awesome shadows and your shots are wonderful. I love the last one for it's beautiful style.
I stumbled upon your lovely blog and wanted to tell you about a project that I have going on over at my Blog. The Happiness Project is a Tuesday blog hop that I host. All you have to do is post a photo of something that makes you happy, it's that simple. I'm trying to take over the blogosphere with happiness!
Here is a link to last week's post if you would like to check it out.
