Shadows are usually to be avoided when taking photos. But with Shadow Shot Sunday, the fun is seeking out those shadows. And fun it is!
While in Port Dover Thursday for Canada Day (see here), I found many shadows. It was that kind of beautiful, sunny day where shadows could easily be found.
Be sure to visit the other great shadow chasers at Hey Harriet!, a fun meme hosted by Tracy.

Who in their right mind would avoid a shadow? Not me, anyway. The trees and motorcycle leave great shadows, defining their subjects even better. Nicely captured!
Ah, we shadow seekers know where the fun is! And we never avoid a shadow, do we? And what a great variety of shadows you found this week, Bev! Marvelous captures for the day! Have a lovely holiday weekend!

Canada Day truly was a beautiful day this year!
Such precise shadows, love the trees and the railing shadows in the last one they rise on the curb.
What perfectly sunny weather for SSS! Love the shadow (and hint) of the motercycle!!
Beautiful sunny days, perfect for chasing shadows, these are great.
These are all very cool! You've captured such variety in this collection of shadows!
Happy belated Canada Day! I hope your celebrations were fun. We celebrate Australia Day early in the year on January 26th :)
