What a fun challenge -tearing scraps of painted papers and gluing them down! Part of the process though, was to observe the tearing process and the effect of tearing different ways.
I created a journal page with several remnants of painted papers I had already created.
But, once I started, I couldn't stop! I started making ATC backgrounds.
The next step will be to take this backgrounds and add to them.
Be sure to check out the other participants of the GPP challenge here.

This looks like fun. Do you have the same problem as me - I create a background, like it and don't want to cover it? I love using all kinds of different textured papers, this would be a perfect exercise for that.
Have a great weekend.
Bev - wow! Look how much fun you had! Great pieces. Love that you did a page AND some ATCs. The difference in scale must have been a fun challenge too. Thanks for sharing with the team!
Yes, these can be addictive :) Very nice ATCs. Mona
great page, looks like you had fun!
These pages are great ! It is fun to make stories about what the strips turn into in them. Nice job on the Strip Ease !
It is addicting! These look great :)
Your backgrounds look like tiny landscapes to me - I'll be really interested to see what you do with them. Thanks for sharing them with us.
I can tell you enjoyed this crusade!
i agree with Cath, those backgrounds do look like tiny landscapes :)
I like the desert one with the cactus. (Well that's what "I" see and I like it!)
I haven't done ATCs in about a year but that seems to be a good way to jump start them. Thanks for sharing your ideas.
Great backgrounds - can't wait to see what you do with them!
Hello Bev,
nice page and ATC's !
the ATC's really look like landscapes already. Let us know what you add to complete them.
greetings from belgium

Love your atc's, perhaps you can draw on them? Or stamp?
Very cool combinations. Thanks for inspiring me to use my papers on ATCs
Yes, it can be addictive. Love what you've done !
Lovely creations here and I hadn't thought of doing ATC's with the strips - great idea.
Oh, I totally know what you mean about not being able to stop! Once I saw how cool the strip effect was, I knew I had to keep going with it. If I weren't busy today with a dinner party, I'd be journal-paging all my strips! or, vice-versa. I love what you've done, continuing to ATCs. Nice colors and variety. Rock on!
Thank you all for stopping by! This was such a fun challenge. I am still crating nbackground cards!
I will use them for collages for sure, altho some are lovely on their own - if I do say so myself! lol
