Today is time to share your work space at "Stamping Ground".
With all the leaves falling, I gathered up some different kinds as well as some maple keys for some printing.

(Some people sure get in the Hallowe'en spirit! Great leaves tho)

Here's a look at my table after printing leaves:

Here are a couple of my favourite ATCs (watercolour background, acrylic paint for printing)

Sunday Weekly Wrap-Up

This past week I worked on a few challenges..

Collage Obsession
Collage Obsession has switched their challenges to Fridays and by the time I worked on last week's challenge "raven", the entry was closed and the new one "Eerie" was up.
Here are the entries for both:

They are actually both in response to the tragedies of the past week in canada with the murders of two servicemen.
The theme of "monsters" was the theme at "Sunday Postcard Art" but I did not want to create a small artpiece. When I read the quote about monsters that I chose to work with, it resonated to the evil that abides in this world. It seemed eerie to me as well.

The other quote by Poe from "The Raven" struck me as what we hope for in the aftermath of the tragedies - "nevermore".

I also worked on several ATC swaps.

ABC Wednesday -M

Hard to believe that ABC Wednesday is into its 15th round! They are already at M - and I am jumping back into the challenge. I have missed it and have a decided to create a journal page with a quote about writing from an author whose name begins with the letter of the week.

M is for Toni Morrison.
This award winning writer has written numerous books and won the Nobel Prize for Literature. Three of her most famous books are "Beloved",  "The Bluest Eye" and "Sula".

For other takes on M, visit ABC Wednesday.
