Shadows abounded this morning and most of this week for that matter. But it was a wee bit hot to just wander ans take photos.

Your garden shadows are nice as always. The sun may be hot now, but as always winter beckons in an all-too-short time, so the heat and brilliant sun are but a small price to pay...
The babies, as in all species, always squawk when they are hungry. Hopefully they will soon leave the nest - and allow the parents to relax!
The babies will soon be fledglings and on their way!
