ABC Wednesday -M

Hard to believe that ABC Wednesday is into its 15th round! They are already at M - and I am jumping back into the challenge. I have missed it and have a decided to create a journal page with a quote about writing from an author whose name begins with the letter of the week.

M is for Toni Morrison.
 This award winning writer has written numerous books and won the Nobel Prize for Literature. Three of her most famous books are "Beloved",  "The Bluest Eye" and "Sula".

WOYWW

Wednesdays is WOYWW - what's on your worktable? Visit the Stamping Ground for great views of work tables.
 I am trying to use Wednesdays as a play date - to get to my art table and play with paint.
This afternoon I finally pulled out my gelli plat and created some Hallowe'enish papers for some swaps I have coming up.
Here is the table overall:

There are actually 3 projects on the go:  2 canvases which are now painted; playing cards for APC deck of cards challenge; and the gelli papers.

These are the 2 roll-off papers I made as well - these from just rolling off the paint from the roller. I use these papers as well in my art.

While I was working on Inspiration Avenue's theme on words this week, I got into an art creating mood and worked on a few projects.

October Calendar

Here's my calendar for October, for the challenge at "The Kathryn Wheel". It worked out that the page had Hallowe'en pictures on it already. I just worked around them.

Collage  "Leftovers"

I am trying to complete challenges I have started and this was one - to create a paper love piece on "leftovers". I have so many gelli paper scraps so just had a relaxing time cutting and gluing!

WOYWW

Today is time to share What's on Your Workdesk at "Stamping Ground". I don't participate as often as I should but because I was actually working on art today I thought I'd take part.
 I need some backgrounds for some Hallowe'en ATCs so created a couple of those. I also prepared two canvases for mixed media projects.
