K is for Kind and Kindness
With this crisis, it is never more important to show extra kindness, to choose to be kind. Too many are putting their lives on the line - for us. We need to stay home,; we shouldn't be yelling because we have to wait in line, or spit when we don't get what we want.
"Choose Kind" is a movement that grew from the amazing book

The Comprehensive Shoulder Rehabilitation Certification Program offers a complete framework to help clinicians learn the advanced skills necessary for shoulder rehabilitation. This online program is accredited and focuses on both acute and chronic injuries so that clinicians will be able to manage or refer out their patients with shoulder injuries effectively.
The program examines biomechanics of the shoulder, assessment post-injuries, return-to-sport outcomes, surgical protocols for recovery, exercise therapy, manual therapy, and functional rehabilitation. Participants will obtain hands-on learning through video demonstrations, real-life case examples, and guided learning modules in shoulder rehabilitation based on evidence-based practice.
Participants also gain knowledge regarding return-to-sport and return-to-work strategies for shoulder rehabilitation that will help them guide recovery outcomes for individual patients upon their return to normal activities. Along with pain management, the overall goal is to restore normal shoulder function based on both the biomechanical knowledge and post-injury functional limitations so patients can regain full mobility and strength in the shoulder.
Graduates of this program will achieve globally accepted certification which provides the opportunity to enhance their professional identity and career trajectory as clinicians in physiotherapy, rehabilitation, or sports medicine practice.
The Knee Physiotherapy Strategies for Injury Rehabilitation course, an online course specifically for physiotherapists, sports medicine clinicians and rehabilitation professionals looking to expand their knowledge around rehabilitation after an injury. The course is evidence-based, and the certification will assist you to help clients return to function, restore mobility and improve strength following a knee injury.
The course begins by reviewing common injuries (ligament sprains, meniscal tears, patellar instability, post-operative), and to understand the appropriate step-by-step rehabilitation progression as an evidence-based practice: beginning with pain reduction, restoring mobility, improving strength, and progressing to a sport specific conditioning program. Building on this understanding, each clinician will apply this information as they develop a plan for individualized treatment goals based upon the patient goals, severity of the knee injury and the phase of recovery the patient is in.
The course will provide practical modules on manual therapy, progressive resistance training, proprioceptive training, gait retraining and integration of functional movements. Clinicians will learn how to apply clinical reasoning to consider prevention of the same knee injury; along with client re-integration to 'return-to-sport' and/or activities of daily living.
After finishing this program, clinicians will be able to display advanced skill knowledge of developing outcome-driven rehabilitation program design and will demonstrate skills and knowledge that can assist them serve as a valuable specialist in providing sports and orthopedic care.
