Shadows abound in the sun - and it has been sunny this week! Gorgeous weather to begin summer. We almost had record heat on Wednesday and Thursday - and we were having playday at school on Thursday morning!
Only a week to go until school is done for another year. Hard to believe how quickly the days have flown since March break. I will certainly be looking forward to R & R this year!

Loved the design of this spent flower.

I'm really taken with how beautiful the dying bloom is!
Such a lovely shadow shot, beautiful soft colors! Delightful as always, Bev!
Teaching can be a rewarding if tiring occupation - you will have earned your R&R! The pink flowers sit wonderfully in that sea of green, brightening the dark flora very well, and that shadow is beautifully defined! Lovely shots!
They are all so beautiful Bev! Even the flowers that are ready to drop their petals create a lovely design!! Have a wonderful weekend!!
Hi Bev,
Nice to hear that you have a hot summer. Well, everytime, I visit you, I always learn a new flower name. I love flowers but knowing the names, never stuck in my brain.
Lovely post of your flowers that gave you great shots.
Happy SSS,
