Chasing shadows is such a fun past-time. With the bright sun this week I was able to get some good shadows.
This is the jockey we have as a welcome at the front of the house (been in the family for years!) . I even caught myself in shadow!Be sure to visit these great shadow chasers at Hey Harriet!, home of Shadow Shot Sunday. It is worth the visit just to see the lovely mosaics she creates of shadows from the week before.

The tomato stake (we have a few of these) looks like a halo, a fun shadowy find! Ws still have some green leaves, at least for awhile. So their shadows have the shape of leaves attached t the vines...

Ahhh, sun sweet sun, wish it would never go away...I say this every winter, even as it shines, it's bitter cold...dread!!!

We haven't been able to see any shadows for a couple of weeks -- no sun -- and none forecast for at least another week. Something's happened to our sunny Southern California.
