Shadows have a way of appearing in photos even when you don't plan them. While looking back at some photos from a couple of years ago (before SSS!) I found some interesting shadows.
From our visit to Saratoga Springs.
I tried to get the jockey's photo, but I am actually liking him surrounding in darkness!

Darkness is everything in the second shot! Lovely!
I hear that is is an elegant and genteel place to watch the ponies in August. The days prior to electronic betting seem charming, and your shadows of Saratoga seem to harken to a far simpler time!

Nice archive photos! I wish I had discovered digital a long time ago. I was one of the holdouts, so have a ton of paper pics in boxes (SoMeWheRe!!) Happy SSS to you.
