Skies
There is something about skies -I have a great need to photograph them in all their faces, especially cloudy or pink skies!
With The celebration of Queen' Victoria's birthday on Monday, with a long weekend, and lots of fireworks this past weekend, I had to include one night sky, filled with fireworks!
Squirrels
A close friend runs a squirrel rescue at her home. When the local rescue society needs foster homes, she takes in newborns and cares for them til they are able to leave and live on their own. It is aq lot of work but she loves it. We had a chance to see one little fellow who was almost ready to leave.

I love trying to make shapes out of the clouds in the sky. But I've never managed to take a good photo of them.
Wonderful sky pictures and the squirrels very sweet! When I was growing up we always had fireworks for the Queen's birthday, but here in B.C. rodeos seem to take priority.
These are really nice photos. The squirrel is so cute. What a worthwhile thing for your friend to do.
Skies always provide great photo opportunities! Cloud watching should be a required pastime. We don't want for squirrels in our yard. They torment the Golden as they jump from tree to tree, safely out of reach!
