Shadow Shot Sunday

Once again it is time to share shadows for "Shadow Shot Sunday"

Shadows are lurking everywhere! At least today they are. Bright sun, snow covered ground - just beautiful.
And I didn't even step off the back porch!

Last Sunday I took a picture of the same corner but from a different angle to get a shadow cast by our jockey (he has been put to rest for the winter now!)

Be sure to check out the other wonderful shadows at Hey Harriet!

So often we do not have to travel far at all to capture artistic moments - they are all around us! What can one say about snow as a wonderful canvas. Shadows appear on the snowy top so much like they are part of a charcoal drawing. So nice!

Great shadow shots as always, Beverly! Love the snowy ones even it does look COLD! It's cold here and there isn't even any snow -- yet!

Enjoy your weekend!

the snow will help to make bright shadows...I'm afraid that is what we have here too...school closed two days last week and winter has just begun!!! i prefer the statue without snow...

Sweet little snowy footprints! It is fascinating how we can find so much so close to home, isn't it?

During winter, its good to look at pictures during summer

Love all the snow. We have only had a sprinkling, and it all got washed away too soon. Oh, the jockey will be back soon enough! He's cute.

Such lovely snow shadows! I'm also feeling left out like Catherine ;)

PS - I only wish the photos were a little bit bigger so that I could include them in the SSS collages sometimes. Oh well, I certainly enjoy looking at them here each week :)
