Shadow Shot Sunday

What a gorgeous start to a long weekend! It will be warm and sunny for at least today and tomorrow. In Canada we are celebrating Queen Victoria's birthday - our May 2-4 weekend! Time to put in the garden finally and probably barbecue later.

It is also the Preakness today - and there is a possibility a Canadian horse could win the second jewel of the crown! The jockey Mario Guttierrez is such a humble guy with a great head on his shoulders! Go MARIO!

It is also time to share our shadows - it was a perfect morning to capture some.

Be sure to check out the great shadow chasers here.

What delightful shadow shots for the day, Bev! It does look as though you will have a lovely weekend to celebrate Queen Victoria's Birthday and how cool to have a horse from there in the Preakness!! Go Mario, indeed!! Enjoy!

The Queen is to be celebrated all over the Confederation. The horse has to be a proud achievement to even be in the running - thoroughbreds seem to know how special this race is, and are ready to gallop to victory...the yard shadows are always beautiful, they reflect out artistic views of our gardens. Your are beautiful!

All the shadows you found are awesome, I especially like the last one...the shadow looks quite 'regal' such as a crown.
