ART on Friday - on Saturday
Time once again to share some of the art I have been creating this past week. It has been a busy "life" week, so art didn't happen much. But I did create for 3 challenges this week:
Sunday Postcard Art
This week the theme at Sunday Postcard Art was "Clowns":
Take a Word Challenge
The theme at Take a Word Challenge this week was "Balloons.
Tag Tuesday
For Tag Tuesday this week, the theme was "Locks and Keys". I was able to use one of the stamps I have carved.
Miniature May
I have only completed one small collage this week, but at least I did one.

ART on Friday
That time of the week to share a bit of what I have been working on this week.
Miniature May
I have been enjoying creating these 5x5 miniature collages for the Miniature May challenge.
Here are the last 3 I created:
CHALLENGES
I only took part in a couple of challenges this week, and was able to use up some of the many used stamps. I have.

ART on Friday/Saturday
Once again, my art sharing is a day late - but at least it's happening!
I took part in several challenges this week:
Sunday Postcard Art
The theme this week at Sunday Postcard Art was "Crown and Wings." I had fun makeing the collage - then discovered the quote. They fit well together.
Baby Love/ Nostalgia
The tag I created fits two challenges:
Take a Word Challenge - "Nostalgia" - as it was nostalgic looking through a box of photos for photos of my children as babies
Tag Tuesday - "Baby Love" - I couldn't settle on just one photo of each of my children - so I used 2 - it also fit well with the watercolour background that I repurposed from an old painting.
Miniature May
Here are three more collages I created for the Miniature May challenge. I am enjoying just playing with papers and using up materials I've had for a long while.
Photography
We went shopping yesterday and when I saw the planters for sale at Canadian Tire, I had to buy some. Usually I put together my own, but this time I couldn't resist buying three.
Here are some of the flowers.
And more blooms from our garden.
Couldn't resist the textures and design I saw:

ART on Friday - on Sat.
The first Friday in May brings a return to sharing of some of my artwork this week - although I am posting a bit late.
I am taking part in several challenges this month - two daily ones and several weekly ones.
Miniature May
This daily challenge asks us to create small pieces of art -smaller than 5x5. I chose to create 5x5 mini collages.
Here are a few of my favourites from the first week:
Sunday Postcard Art
The theme this week at Sunday Postcard Art is "Mail Art". I have lots of used stamps, so this was fun to do.
Try it on Tuesday
The theme this week at TIOT is "Stencils/Die Cuts or both.
I created this as my daily collage today for Miniature May.
Photography
Flowers are blooming in our gardens - as are dandelions - so I thought I'd get a few photos and then share.
I saw a dove in our backyard but before I could zoom in, it flew off.

WOYWW
I've been absent from WOYWW for a while but with May and new challenges, I knew I needed to return
WOYWW is the weekly meme hosted by Julia Dunnit at "Stamping Ground" - where we are all encouraged to share what we are working on and the state of our work spaces.
I have started the Miniature May challenge - creating small pieces of art (less than 5x5). I am creating 5x5 mini collages.
Yesterday I created this one:
Here's today's collage:
Once I finished the collage, here's what my dining room table looked like:
