ABC Wednesday - XYZ and WOYWW

Hard to believe we have come to the end of the 17th round of ABC Wednesday - just a s the new year begins. I've taken a few weeks rest from blogging over the holidays, so I have XYZ to finish with.

I am beginning an

EXcellent

     Yearlong art project - a project 366 for 2016!

        Zippity-doo-dah!

My Project 366 will involve creating art tags - using scraps of hand-made, painted and other kinds of paper.
Here are the first 5:

Be sure to check here for ways Others around the world are finishing this round.

WOYWW

It's time once again to share our workspaces for WOYWW - the fun weekly meme hosted by Julia Dunnit at "Stamping Ground"
I've been working on a couple of projects this week:

1. the tags shown above - as part of my Project 366 - a tag a day.I was working at the dining room table as my papers are upstairs.

 2. I have also started playing along with "Colour Me Positive" - a weekly journal challenge, at    LuLu Art where we respond to a quote and prompt.

This week the quote was by Jennifer Gayle

"When you look at life through the eyes of gratitude, the world becomes a magical and amazing place"

and as well,  we were asked as well to share what we were grateful for from 2015

This was my workspace when I was finished with the journal spread:

I love your art tags and your journal. I think I'll use your idea for the tags, to use scrap paper.

I had planned to visit sooner, but right after I linked to Julia, my electricity went off. It came back on a short time ago, so now I'm trying to catch up by visiting everyone. May get tired before I do, though.

What a great way to use up scraps, and have a functional tag in the process. I hope you do well with those quotes, too. I would have trouble with that challenge, I fear, since I don't draw. Happy WOYWW on Thursday from #1.
