Shadow Shot Sunday

This morning the sun was out and shadows could easily be found. There was also a bit of snow. Flurries are predicted most days in the coming week with at freezing temperatures. Winter is here.

Be sure to check here for great shadows from around the world.

Lovely Shadows! I like the maple leaf, and given that you are in Ontario, quite fitting! Happily we get leafy shadows for now...snow is great for shadows, but I am not ready for that just yet!

Sharp shadow shapes cast by the leaves. Gorgeous macros.

I have to confess that I don't envy you your cold weather. Here in the Sonoran Desert the temperature is expected to be near 80 degrees Fahrenheit today.

In this case, it looks like a fore-shadowing. The leaves are curled up as if wary of the coming cold.
