On a cloudy day shadows can be tricky to capture. This morning I played peek-a-boo with the sun. Just as I saw a shadow the clouds would cover up the sun. But I persevered (as I wished for a jacket!) and was able to capture a couple of shadows.
And then just as I snapped a shot, the sun disappeared.
Yesterday at the Ancaster Fair, the clouds were with us as well on our first school trip. The kids had a great time watching animals, climbing on tractors and exploring buildings and displays. I got a couple of faint shadows - this was the best of them

Great shadow shots for the day, Bev! I love the bird! Hope you have a lovely weekend!
Hello Bev : )
I love those carvings of the birds !
The shadows popped up just when you needed them and then took off again, haha .. just like they always do?

It was cool enough that you wished for a jacket? I'll trade you weather! It's supposed to hit 106 in southern Arizona today! (Sorry, I don't know what that is in Celsius.)

I think you did an wiz bang good job this morning. These are great and all the better because you had to put a little extra thought in it. I got up and put on a long sleeved shirt this morning but it actually was pretty warm. That was a surprise. I see you teach 3rd grade. I am 73 and still going strong tho they are going to close our middle school this year. Have asked the superintendent to give me a 2nd or 3rd grade class as my certificate is good for 3 more years. I started out in grade 2 back in 1959!. genie
Shadow hunting is a fun pursuit and happily you persevered despite the chill on a chilly day. The exterior shadows may not be as strong as you wanted but are distinct - and lovely!
Intricate shadows!

Have a blessed Sunday.
