Shadow Shot Sunday

This week has had very changeable weather but there have been a few sunny days that create lovely shadows.
This week as well, I took my class on a field trip to the Woodland Cultural Centre in Brantford to learn about the history and culture of the native people in our area. Lots to see and a few great shadows to be found!
This lovely artwork, "The Great Tree", was created by Stan Hill Sr. from a moose antler.
Early lacrosse stick.
Be sure to check out the shadows from around the world at SS2 (see sidebar)

Love the scrolls in the gate, and the field trip looks like it provided you with some great shadows as well Beverley!

The look of nature is delicate all by itself, but a moose antler as a canvas is amazing! The gate shows off a stronger April sun, a harbinger of a new growing season. Fine captures!
