I wouldn't say shooting shadows was an obsession, but it's close! A shadow can definitely change a scene and can be quite interesting in its own right.

The dead leaves seem enough alive to offer fine shadows. The circular design on the outside door is rich and shadowy. The winter sun allows for excellent outside shadows despite the outside temperatures...

Since participating in shadow shot Sunday I've been looking at the world with different eyes. Proust would be charmed. Not only do I look differently, but I SEE. Things that I wouldn't have otherwise, I'm sure. I really like the bright white of your shadows shots. Especially the delicate top one.
If the shadows stood alone,without their object,we could conjure up all sorts of beginnings! Happy SSS to you Bev!

the first one is my favourite, although they're all lovely - what are those? they almost look like dahlias. not only do dead flower heads help feed the birds, they feed our shadow shot obsessions! :D
