This week at ABC Wednesday the letter of the week is K.
As I was thinking about the letter, I realized I had the perfect choice - kilts. Each August we visit the Fergus Scottish Festival and there are always lots of kilts worn and on display. With a Scottish father, I adore all things Scottish (okay, maybe not haggis!).
Be sure to check out the other great particpants here.

Now that's the perfect choice for the letter K. I'll bet you had a delightful time.
Great photos...I love the Scottish festivals...the bag pipes and the clogging...great K post...
I think kilts are terribly romantic, and pipers, too!
Good K - I haven't seen a kilt in quite some time...Bagpipers play here each summer for several weeks.
great take!
Just the right word. The Scots are so lucky with all their icons!
I don't have the legs for a kilt. I do love them, though.
I once asked a kilt wearer what he wore underneath. His answer: socks and shoes! Brilliant...
Oh I love kilts and bagpipes - Scottish festivals are fun. Nice to have an excuse to wear tartan.
Good one!
I've never seen a plain red and white kilt before.
Thanks everyone for stopping by - I really appreciate your comments and support!
Take care.
Thanks for visiting my post about The King. I love the sound of a pipe band. We have one in our town that performs at civic events. - Margy
