It has been so good to get back into a practice of (almost) daily creating. I have joined in with Jen of Journal Wild in a year of "Journaling Dangerously" - to journal in whichever way you choose but it make it a daily practice. I wrote about beginning that here and so far I have wither written or art journaled every day this week.
In my journal page this week, I am returning to creating a face. (Kim Dellow hosts a fun challenge "Show Your Face" each week). I need much more practice, but they are fun to create. I use a magazine model and then have fun with it. The quote really struck home, especially as I age.
I continue to create small collages - which must include scraps of paper, a used stamp and stamps. Some fall together much better than others, but they are meant to be fun and use supplies in different ways.
Here are my latest:
I couldn't resist taking these 2 shots - the first one from our squash plant and the other from an old board. Almost abstract.
