ABC Wednesday - M and WOYWW

This week at ABC Wednesday M gets the nod.

M is actually for a number of people who have given us so many wise words.

Nelson Mandela:

Gerald May:

Margaret Mead

and especially - words in Matthew that shine a light on the excessive pursuit of money over compassion and care for others.

Check here to see what others around the world did for M.

WOYWW

Each week at Stamping Ground, Julia Dunnit encourages us all to share our work spaces and what we are working on.

Once again I was working on my dining room table and making quite a mess.

I was also painting a background in my art room in the basement - a bit of a mess there as well.

There's nothing quite like getting painty and messy. Great quotes too. Sarah #4

Who knew so many people starting with "M" gave such great quotes! Your desk looks nice and busy, as does the basement desk, the beginnings of a great journal page! Thank you for sharing, Lindart #38

I love all of the quotes you chose and how you illustrated them. We need to hear them more often. Thanks.

Love the painty desk as much as the upstairs table desk! Also the fact that M inspired you to quote some famous people...where did that great idea come from?!!
