Through my Lens

When I saw this challenge this morning, it made me realize how much I have missed taking part in photo challenges. I know it is about sharing a favourite post, but I am going to focus on sharing favourite sights and places that I haven't had a chance to share.

Oct 30-Nov. 2/2015 was spent in Lexington, Kentucky for Breeder's Cup Day at Keeneland Racetrack. It had been on my hubby's Bucket List for sometime and with American Pharaoh's return for a last race it was going to be history making.

The Track

American Pharaoh in the Classic - and he wond, making him the first Triple Crown Winner in 37 years, to also win the Classic. An exciting race, an exciting weekend.

We also visited the horse parks around Lexington - some amazing statues there.

Oh yes! So exciting to see American Pharaoh! I would love to see another horse race. Went to one as a young woman, but have never attended again. Adored the book & movie about Secretariat! Really great photos! Glad you hubby can check this off his bucket list!
