Shadow Shot Sunday

New snow, delicate shadows. I had to get a few shots to highlight this combination from earlier in the week.

As I was going into the house, I couldn't resist the shadow cast by the top of our mailbox. I love hearts!

Be sure to visit Hey Harriet, that super fun and addictive meme created by Tracy! Lots of great shadows to see there!

New snow is the best medium for shadowy art. The brilliance of the newly fallen precipitation allows for shadows in minimal light. Subtle and soft, each shadow falls barely perceptible - but not lost. Nice hailbox shadows, too!

Love the shadows made by your mailbox--glad you decided to stop and "shoot" them. Mickie

I wish I had a mailbox like that!

MANY SHADOW-SEEKERS SAY

Many shadow-seekers say,
“Oh, the one that got away!”
Why are you so uptight, folks?
Can’t you take light’s little jokes?
