The weather is cooling and we even had risk of frost last night. So I have been trying to photograph our flowers as much as possible.
Many shots had the added bonus of shadows!

Wonderful flowers! We haven't had frost yet, but the mornings are getting much colder.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures! I love how the 2 last flowers look as if they have a light inside ...
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures. It is actually raining and cold now.
ReplyDeleteI love your hibiscus! I have a very tiny one just starting that has very large blooms that almost hide the foliage. Love the shadows on it.
ReplyDeleteWe desert dwellers are sweltering today, so a risk of frost sounds pretty good! Lovely shadows.
ReplyDeleteShadows and Silhouettes
Such a pretty display of colourful flowers. We Australians in the far south are just getting some glimpses of Spring warmth. I am out with my camera right after this post.
ReplyDeleteThe summer is now fleeting - although close to Long Island Sound is much cooler, but no frost yet. It got close in NW Connecticut and the Berkshires and must be closer still in Ontario...so keep capturing the warm weather shadows until the warm days are a fleeting memory :)
ReplyDeletethe pansy center is illuminated...LOVE it!! frost? it's too soon!!!
ReplyDeleteLovely flower shots...
ReplyDeleteMy annuals have identified a change of season and several look to be quitting soon. We haven't had frost yet but next week just might be our first if the long-term forecast is anything to go by.
