ABC Wednesday - V and WOYWW

We have marched through most of the alphabet and have landed on V.

V is for Voltaire - the French philosopher and writer whose words still resonant today.

Be sure to check here to see what others around the world have done with V.

WOYWW

Each week at Stamping Ground, Julia Dunnit encourages us to share our work spaces and what we are working on.

I was working on a number of projects on my dining room/collage table and this was just after I finished the card above. It feels good to be back at creating.

Hi Bev, love the colours on your piece, and that statement is incredibly true, and relevant to todays world. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz#6 Xxx

A timeless sentiment, sad to say. Love the colours in the background though. Look forward to seeing what you come up with for W. Happy WOYWW Sarah #8

great desk and card! The sentiment is too true. I have the senate hearing on and Comey is testifying...the absurdities are amazing! I didn't make it around to many desks last week so thought late or not I was going to visit as many as I could this week! Have a great week. Vickie #43

Sorry I'm late visiting. My internet was down for nearly two days, but I'm back now and admiring that fabulous ATC with the rather disturbing quote by Voltaire. It reminds me of some of the problems going on in the world right now.

Your desk is always fun to visit, even though I fear I've been lax at joining WOYWW lately in order to visit you. For some reason, I thought you might join the ICAD challenge this month/summer.

Happy belated WOYWW from #5.

Fabulous post,
Sorry for the delay in commenting, laptop trouble. It's died on me and I'm in a bit of a flap.
On a positive note, my Dear Husband plans to buy a replacement for me.
