ABC Wednesday - P and WOYWW

This week at ABC Wednesday, O is the star.

O is for Barack Obama, who as 44th President made history and is sorely missed, even here in Canada. His words still resonate.

Check here to see what others around the world did for P.

Each week at Stamping Ground, Julia Dunnit encourages us to share our work spaces and what we are working on.

Here is collage central on my dining room table. I had just finished one card and one (very messy) tissue collage.

ABC Wednesday - N / WOYWW /TIOT

This week at ABC Wednesday, N gets centre stage.

N is for Napoleon Bonaparte.

His words certainly speak out - to a leader who must listen to the people and the press.

Each week, Julia Dunnit of Stamping Ground, asks us tp share our workspaces and what we are working on.

Here is my dining room table as I finished my second card. I received a collection of wonderful papers in the mail today and used some of them for the cards as well as some collages.

ART on Friday

Here it is the first riday of April and I am back after a short (needed) break.
here are a few things I have been working on this week:

Colour Me Positive
This is last week's theme at LuLu Art - creating your own sunshine!

CHALLENGES:
Tag Tuesday -Things with Wings

Try it On Tuesday - Botanicals
Go Tag Thursday - Stamp It

The Collage Workbook
The project I worked on this week was "Seeing Doubles". My doubles were used stamps - which I have so many.

Project 365
For April, I have decided to create a daily zen. I have missed creating small zen cards - these are a bit larger, but as enjoyable and relaxing.

What are you working on for April?

ABC Wednesday - M and WOYWW

This week at ABC Wednesday M gets the nod.

M is actually for a number of people who have given us so many wise words.

Nelson Mandela:

Gerald May:

Margaret Mead

and especially - words in Matthew that shine a light on the excessive pursuit of money over compassion and care for others.

Check here to see what others around the world did for M.

WOYWW

Each week at Stamping Ground, Julia Dunnit encourages us all to share our work spaces and what we are working on.

Once again I was working on my dining room table and making quite a mess.

I was also painting a background in my art room in the basement - a bit of a mess there as well.
