Next week is September which means the end of summer is quickly approaching. Looking at the gardens yesterday confirms that, as the flowers are nearing the end of their cycles. Here are still a few left:
It's that time of the week to share some of the projects I have been working on.
Colour Me Positive
This challenge through LuLu ARt has been an enjoyable one and offers not just a chance to create art but also to win prizes through the facebook group.
This week the stress is on generosity - something our world definitely needs more of!
Tag a Day
I am done now with the A to Z letter tags now and have a few more tags to create for the rest of August. Here are my 4 favourites:
I also created a tag for ABC Wednesday - G.
I participated in several 1-1 swaps at ATCs For All. Here are the ATCs I made - all using used stamps:
This week at ABC Wednesday, letter G gets the focus.
G is for Sir Humphrey Gilbert , an Elizabethan explorer and was ahalf-brother of Sir Walter Raleigh. He founded a colony on Newfoundland in 1583.
Be sure to check here to see what others around the world do for G.
Each week, Julia Dunnit of "Stamping Ground" encourages us to share our workspaces and what we are working on, for WOYWW
Once again I worked at my dining room table, list time after support. It was a simple tag - it took me longer to find the stamp and choose the quote!
Clouds and skies have always fascinated me. This morning the clouds had character.
Rinda's Photo Scavenger Hunt
I discovered this challenge a while ago and forgot about it. When I found the list yesterday, I realized I could do this before the end of the challenge - Sept. 22. There are only 21 items on the list and
I got a few this morning as well as a few over the summer.
1. A wild heart
4.. A book read during the challenge - I just finished this last night and LOVED it (I have been on a Susanna Kearsley kick the past month and have read all but 2 of her books)
5. A porch or deck - at my brother's place in North Carolina when we were there in July
8. An art project created by you - I have so many but here is a favourite from this past few weeks (an ATC):
10. A bicycle - this is an old one sitting in our back walkway
11. Fresh produce - picked yesterday from our garden (nothing like fresh tomatoes!)
12. A window - I shared this Friday but it is a beautiful church window downtown.
You still have time to take part in the challenge!
