ABC Wednesday - Q and WOYWW

This week at ABC Wednesday, the focus is on Q.

Q is for quilt.

Be sure to check here to see how others around the world focused on Q.

WOYWW

Each week Julia Dunnit at "Stamping Ground" hosts WOYWW - where we are encouraged to share the state of our work spaces and what we are working on.

Finding a quilt quote was fairly eas - especially when I realized scraps coule also be scraps of paper - which I have plenty of!
As I began the journal spread above, I started with a pile of gelli paper scraps.I used watercolour to cover the left side.

Then I glued scraps down on the left and crated a log cabin quilt pattern on the right.

It was fun to create, but took a wee bit of time to clear away all the scraps!

I enjoy looking at quilts. I know someone who quilts and always wishing she gifts me with one of her creations.

like the fact that the one page is random pieces of scrap and the other turned into a quilt.butterfliecrafter#12

What a fab idea to make a paper quilt. I love it. It's a very true quote too.
Have a good week,

Great idea to combine the two....love the idea that you may have used up rather than created some scraps.
