31 Days of Art and Inspiring Words - Day 14

Today is Day 14 of the daily blogging challenge 31 Days of Writing.

Canada is heading to the polls to elect a new government I hope. Ten years under Stephen Harper has turned Canada into a divisive, meaner country.
The words of Jane Goodall really reflect the danger of not voting, of not knowing what is happening to our country.

"The greatest danger to our future is apathy."

Dr. Jane Goodall has had an illustrious career and is so well known, especially for her work with primates. In 1960 she began her study of chimpanzees and is now an advocate for endangered species. She is a loud, passionate voice for those which cannot speak for themselves.

I love your colourful collage, and such wise words! Here in Finland, since last spring we have the most horrible government in my lifetime. The good thing is that thousands of people who didn't take a stand before are now speaking out. I wish to Canada a successful election with good participation and positive results!
