Shadow Shot Sunday

I have been absent from my blog for a short while. My father-in-law was ill for awhile, went int hospital over 2 weeks ago, but then passed away May 5th. We spent a week then in Montreal, for the funeral and to be with family. It was a tough week.
But I am back and ready to get back on track.

Today has been cloudy and rainy, as it has been for the past few days. But what a day - Montreal and New York start their series today in Montreal. Then at 6:18, California Chrome may make it 2 out of three on the march to the Triple Crown. An exciting day indeed. I'm rooting for Montreal and Chrome to win!

I have some shadows I took a while ago to share.

In honour of Chrome - another horse photo:

In honour of spring:

Be sure to check here for great shadows from around the world.

I'm not sure what that bottom flower is, but I really like it! Beautiful!

Sorry about your loss - I notice that as I age, I attend more events like this that I would rather...that said, I live in an area full of Ranger Blueshirt fans, but have a nephew who loves Les Habitants, but actually lives in Boston, and his wife is a Bruins fan. An interesting look at sports fan loyalty...The horse looks proud, standing tall with a mane full of shadow - and looks be be sharing a smile with the photographer :)

In my opinion, you can't have enough horse pictures. Love them.
