Sunday Weekly Wrap-Up

Writing seems to be taking over a lot of my time now. I am creating some art but not as involved with challenges as I was.

Year of Firsts
My first for this past week was actually using the snowblower all on on own - from taking it out, to snowblowing our long driveway, moving the car and all the sidewalks. A huge job. I have only ever used it with my husband, to give him a short break. It took we well over an hour to do the whole thing. We got about a foot of snow. I must say, I was pretty proud of myself, e and my husband was so glad to come home to a clear driveway!

ATCs
I did create some ATCs this week for some swaps

Quotes

Heart Inchies

29 Faces
I did a few faces this week, only a couple I was okay with. I'm trying different techniques and using different media. (Check here for info on this fun challenge).

cut and paste:

watercolour crayon (a first as well)

Books Read
I have read 14 books so far - you can check the books in the above tab.

Wow, those cut and paste faces are awesome - so creative. And well done on your first water colour crayon face!

The cut and paste faces look like so much fun. I just read Still Life With Bread Crumbs by Anna Quindlen, what I call an easy read, two sessions and it's done.

Enjoyed your post and what a great first! The snowblower is hard to use with that much snow. You are a rock star!!!

You've been busy! (And that snow sure looks all-too-familiar!) I think the quotes you've chosen are wonderful! I love those cut and paste faces (and the half magazine/half drawn ones below)... It makes me want to play around :)
