Shadow Shot Sunday

Thursday night we had power out for over 2 hours. Some places in Southern Ontario were powerless for almost 24 hours - so we were lucky. Freezing rain and winds make for a nasty mix.

We listened to a radio and used flashlights and as |I moved the light around I was struck, by what else, but by shadows. Here are a few.

Be sure to check here for shadows from around the world. Join in the fun of seeking shadows - it is addictive!

Certainly no fun to be without power when it is SO cold, but you surely did get some great shadow shots for the day, Bev!! Ah, we camera lovers do know how to take advantage of the good and the bad weather!!! Hope you have a good weekend! Stay warm!

Hi Bev,
World's weather is crazy. We still have freezing nights and rainy or windy days. Spring is late for a month as forecasted and it wasn't happened since 30 years? OMG! My allergy is killing me.

Lucky, we were for a 2 weeks adventure in a better weather but the best. +22 degrees compare to our -7degs.

Funny that we always find an unexpectable shadows right? You are one of a true blooded chaser, Maam?

Happy w/end.

Hugs from D´Box,
/CC girl

We do not enjoy the power being out - as if we must live like pioneers may have as they trekked when they moved west in covered wagons...however, there were no hand-held photographic deices either. Nice captures obtained in a blackout!

Oh poor you, coming from South Africa I know that "power out" story well. However, you got to shoot some stunning shadows, and we hope you are back to snug and warm. xoxo
