Shadow Shot Sunday

As I went around today and yesterday looking for shadows, I captured these prints (they were actually only about 3 to 3 inches long).  Raccoon?

This is a shot of the jockey we usually have at the front of the house holding a big container of flowers. Loved the shadow he created.

Our hedge of cedars creates these wonderful lacy shadows throughout the winter.

Be sure to check out all the shadows from around the world here.

Each Full moon I use images and put them together with - http://bighugelabs.com/mosaic.php I then took each full moon (final) and put them into a new one for 2012 year in review. I then posted them and tah dah you all saw it. Hope this helps you understand what I did.

What wonderful shadow shots for the day, Bev!! I love the footprints in the snow! Hope your new year is off to a great start and that you have a lovely weekend! Stay warm!

The raccoon or other mammal seems not to be concerned about the snow, as the nighttime foraging must commence despite the weather...as always, the long southerly sun makes for wonderful shadowy winter art!

Adore the mystery footprints and subtle shadows! And love the long shadows from the jockey and hedge! Lovely soft lighting!

Those prints are wonderful, Beverley, & I love the shadows of everything too. It's nice to have such a goal, to wander outside for the discovery.
