Sunday Weekly Wrap -up

I have finally returned to a daily practice of art. I had a rough going in July as I was busy with book studies, decluttering, physio for my knee and reading ( a lot!), as well as swimming and spending time with my hubby.

Stamp Carving
But I decided to start an online course - Stamp Carving 101 - and I love it. So far I have created a stamp a day and an ATC with that stamp. I have a way to go to perfect my skills but I am loving creating my own stamps.

ATCs
I was also able to create some ATCs the past couple of weeks - something that is at once a bit of a challenge and fun.

.

Photography
I continue to take photos - mostly of

flowers

skies

and now of the third dove family on our porch!

linking up with Creative Every Day and Inspire Me Monday.

You always amaze me with how much you are able to do and how beautiful all of your work is. I love your cards.

I just started the Stamp Carving 101 class, too. I really like the leaf stamp. I didn't do the leaf, but did a bird (I like yours) and a chevron. I am hoping to make another today.

such a delightful cross-section of artsy experimentation!!

I'm finding I love the process far more than I ever imagined, and the outcomes, well, NOT so "all that" that I'd come to BElieve.

You have definitely been busy!

I love carving my own stamps--and as far as perfecting your skills, the stamps you've made look terrific! I think that one of my favorite things about carving my own stamps is the imperfection of them--they are totally mine! Kind of that wabi-sabi thing...

What online class are you taking? (I mean...from whom)? Your stamps and ATCs look great. I'm off to see what a dream board is!
